Smoke is Everywhere

I knew where I was, but didn't recognize it.  This place was large, empty...cold.

There were others around me, laughing, talking,
but I only felt and recognized one.

There was trouble everywhere, but it was being ignored.
Not because it wasn't seen,
but because they didn't know what to do.

I opened my eyes, momentarily marveling at the feel of it all;
comfortable and dangerous at the same time.
Drifting off again, I stepped back into the scene...

Now out of the place I knew, looking at it through a window;
I heard the the scream of fire engines.
Alarmed, I turned to the one I knew with terror,
and we both ran.

He had a light colored coat on, I can see it.
I can hear the chaos around us as we sprinted to the place I knew.
He threw open the door and smoke billowed out.
We both started coughing,
looked at each other with determination
and stepped into the burning building...

All I could see was his back and the ark in the distance.
I could feel the heat and taste our desperation.
He reached it first and yanked open the doors.
I was right behind him and he quickly handed me the small one,
then grabbed the larger.
We stepped down and made for the door.

The last thing I remember was collapsing, tightly holding the scroll to my chest.
Smoke was everywhere.

Smoke is everywhere.

A vision of what's happening I think. I shared with you a long time ago the vision I had about my old beloved place. It's very distrubing.
