Week 38

A picture of a historical figure with whom you would like to converse...

Why, my buddy Paul, of course!  Man, I have a lot of questions for this icon of Scripture.

from Sha'ul to Paul

Did you ever intend for your writings, your letters to specific congregations, to be used as Scripture? How does that make you feel?

Did you ever intend for believers to forsake the Torah? (This is a rhetorical question, I realize, but I'd sure like him to wax eloquently on the subject.)

Can we just go over some of your writing?  Say, for instance, some of the very long sentences found in Romans, in particular. Perhaps it's just a matter of punctuation...

So, what is your definition of lashon hara?

How do you, the Hebrew of Hebrews, really feel about being made a saint by the Church?

I'd sure like you to exegete your own writing...can we spend some time doing that? Most especially concerning the role of women. Yeah.

Priceless! This one was a made-for-you challenge, it seems.

I'd love to be there for that conversation! Nicely done! :o)
