Life is hard. I'm sure you will agree.
Life is hard...when work to make others happy fails.
Life is hard...when loud voices drown out good intentions.
Life is hard...when best efforts are misconstrued.
Life is hard...when misunderstandings condemn.
Life is hard...when needs go unfulfilled.
Life is hard...when decisions that seem right at the time lead to regret.
Life is hard...when there isn't enough time to get to everything done.
Life is hard...when words are used to hurt.
Life is hard...when compassion and care is withheld.
Life is hard...when wrong assumptions win the day.
Life is hard...when there is not enough to go around.
Life is hard...when ignorance is encouraged.
Life is hard...when choices leave emotional scars.
Life is hard...when there is no love.
Life is hard, and I don't know why it has to be that way.
Yes, life is hard.
But, G-d is good.
I pray that His voice drown out all the voices that are telling me that I'm...not.
Oh, how abundant is Your goodness,
which You have stored up for those who fear You
and worked for those who take refuge in You,
in the sight of the children of mankind!

Reading this with such mixed emotions. Sadness over your obvious pain but the comfort and encouragement of your words comes at a time when I really needed it. Thank you - listening to His voice only.
