Week 61

A picture of a real 'character' whose (character) traits you want to emulate.


There is only One whose character traits I would like to emulate, and that is Mashiach, the Holy One Himself. There are plenty of people, characters if you will, that exhibit sincere humility and righteousness, it is true. But I am compelled to fix my eyes on the One who is perfect in every way.

"The LORD, the LORD, a G-d merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation."

Eternal righteousness and justice.
Endless compassion and unending faithfulness.
Brilliant truth and enduring lovingkindness.
Immense Holiness.

I will ever be walking in the footsteps of my Master and Shepherd - Salvation is His Name.
